Springs of Life Global Evangelistic Ministry is a multifaceted ministry with four divisions:

• Church Planting and Growth Division
• Educational missions Division
• Media and Literature Division
• Outreach Division

Our Outreach division is the extent or length in which SOL reaches out with “the love of God to the world”. SOL outreach activities take several forms; gospel crusades, medical missions, vocational and skill acquisition centers etc.

SOL outreach division is the pioneering thrust of the ministry; entering villages, cities, and nations with the gospel. Our Outreach division also holds outreaches in existing mission fields to reinforce the ongoing work of her missionaries.

 

SOL Outreach division comprises of church planters, volunteer medical personnels, intercessors, student volunteers, and philanthropists. Many times, gospel outreaches are held alongside medical and welfare outreaches.

 

Medical outreaches

During the medical outreaches qualified medical personnel come to the villages to check the health status of the villagers. This is important and it’s done from time to time. Sometimes depending on the magnitude of the health conditions, free medical surgeries are done for needed cases.

 

Welfare outreaches

About 70-80% of the children in the village have few or no clothes to wear. The children are mostly clothes in rags, and not-so-clean clothes on special occasions. As for the footwear, the children walk barefoot to preserve their school sandals from getting damaged. The welfare outreach helps the get relief materials like clothes, footwear, books, food items, etc to the villagers. Welfare outreach also involves sinking boreholes, digging wells, as well as other amenities that may open hearts to the gospel.

The medical and welfare outreaches had made easier the sharing of the gospel. Like Jesus, we use outreaches to teach about the kingdom of God and the saving work of the King on the Cross as well as attend to their physical needs.

The Lead Missioner of the ministry takes charge of the outreach division, assisted by one SOL trustee and two volunteer partners.
