sol conferences
SOL holds special meetings, seminars, workshops all through the year, usually across denominations and the focus is either to make more mission minds or to encourage and equip further, those whose passion is already missions and evangelism.
A sample of these meetings are:
GO Weekends : Usually a two day meeting that hold in campuses, sometimes churches, to inform young people and churches about the Great Commission, and how they can creatively get involved and effectively participate in missions.
A Time for Missions : It’s a missions conference for pastors and church leaders. In francophone countries, the emphasis of this conference is discipleship, in anglophone countries, it is on frontier evangelism. In the city of Abeokuta, it holds annually, and its main highlights is the graduation ceremony of our graduates at the Missions Training Centre(MTC).
Rural Church Workers Training Summit (RCWT): This is a camp meeting where rural church workers in SOL church plants are gathered and are trained for the effective rendering of service to the Lord. RCWT sometimes take place twice a year.
Rural Teenage Conference: At this Conference, teenagers from rural settlements are gathered for a time of renewal and reorientation towards responsible and godly living and how to win in life against overwhelming odds.
Young Lions Summit: This is an annual mentorship forum for young men and women who over the years have gone through either our Missions Training Center ( MTC), or GO Weekends and desire ongoing spiritual guardianship or tutelage. It serves as a mentoring hob for young people who take the Great Commission seriously.
Young couples and Single Parents Seminar: This conference is geared towards promoting Biblical Marriage Commitment as well as dealing with contemporary issues bedeviling parenting.
