Pastor Margaret Olufemi Nwakanma is the chairperson of board of trustees of the Springs of Life Global Evangelistic Ministry ( SOL).

Pastor Margaret was born on the 29th of September 1956 to Bishop J.U.Itegboje who devoted his life to missionary works in Auchi and around Estako and Akoko-Edo local government areas of Edo State.

In those years when Auchi was still predominantly Moslem, Bishop Itegboje fearlessly preached the gospel, confronting principalities and powers as he moved around the town in prayers late in the night returning home in the early hours of the morning. The same deep and fearless missionary grace that was in Bishop J. U. Itegboje of blessed memory now rests firmly on her daughter, Pastor Margaret Nwankama. God in His rich mercies has ensured a change of baton from father to daughter.

Margaret Olufemi Nwakanma attended Federal Government college Ibillo and went further to obtain her diploma certificate in teaching at Imaguero teacher’s college Benin City. Shortly after her studies, she got married to Mr Brandon Nwakanma, a diplomat. Mr Nwankama spent his career as a diplomat serving in various countries including the United States of America, Somalia, Greece, Equatorial Guinea etc, with Pastor Margaret alongside her husband. While in the United States, Pastor Margaret had another diploma in education from Jamaica university, New Jersey. She however could not further her studies due to her husband’s many travels.

In those years, Pastor Margaret Nwankama was an astute business woman, and was founder of a highly successful company, Rose Maggie Nigeria Limited, and a importer of goods to Nigeria for many years. In 1998 Pastor Margaret  received the call to full time ministry in an encounter with the Lord. In this vision the Lord asked her to give up her lucrative business and to do His business. She subsequently obeyed the Lord, traveling the North and South of Nigeria in missionary forays. In the year 2002 she accompanied the esteemed Rev John Marshall for a Prayer Summit in SOL. In this meeting, she was instructed by the Lord to join SOL. Subsequently, she began a relationship with SOL as a senior minister, friend, partner and mother. She has since then also served meritoriously and selflessly  as an evangelist, teacher and a strong advocate for missions involvement and support.

In January 2016 Pastor Margaret Nwankama began serving in acting capacity as Chairperson of SOL board of trustees, and in 2019  when a new board was inaugurated, as the substantive chairperson of the board of trustees of the Springs of Life Global Evangelistic Ministry (SOL).
